Rule 1-Never miss a Monday

Monday, for many, sets the tone for the week.  Scheduling in your workout on Monday tends to lead to success for the rest of the week of workouts.

Very often we will see people say, “Oh I’ll go tomorrow”, and next thing they know they’ve pushed it all the way to the end of the week without getting in a workout yet.

Rule 2-The two day rule

The rule here is to never skip more than two days in the gym or doing something active.

Any time you are trying to build a new habit nothing can be more detrimental than getting out of a groove. This rule is an attempt at stopping that from happening.

Take rest days for sure, but after one day off, make sure you do something active in the gym or outside to keep your body moving and keep your habit going!

Rule 3-Have accountability partners

Nothing is better than having people around you who want the best for you and are there to help you make it happen.

Find people in your life who will help you stay consistent. Share your goals with them and let them know how they can help you stay on track.

The reality is life gets busy and the first thing many let slip is taking care of their own health.

I hope these tips help and you can use them to keep up with your health and fitness journey!
