There are many reasons a diet can be hard…

But one of the major reasons we come across when we help people with their nutrition is they follow diets that leave them very hungry constantly.

You can suffer through for 1 to 4 weeks being hungry just by pure will power…

Eventually that is going to wear off and you are going to cave to that hunger and usually rebound weight gain all and sometimes even more than you lost.

The definition for satiation is satisfied to the full.

The goal of any diet is to be as full as possible while still eating the right amount to achieve whatever goal you are trying to achieve.

For those trying to lose weight, often times you need to eat less to get that scale to go down…

Eating meats, veggies, and fruits will be much more satiating for you than protein shakes and oreos.

470 calories 6oz chicken, 2 cups broccoli, 2 apples

vs

494 calories 1 premier protein shake, 6 oreos

If you were someone that ate 2,000 calories a day yo9u could eat 4 of these meals a day…

The first one would leave you very full throughout your day while the other would leave you wanting your next meal very shortly after.

So for those of you who struggle out there with being constantly hungry on a diet…

Eat foods that satisfy you!

If you are going out for an event…

Eat a meal that satisfies you before you go and it will make eating at the event easier than it otherwise would have been!
