  Any Hero WOD…but really any WOD that has deadlifts in it

  Power Snatch and Double Unders..they are so hard


Tell us about your sports & fitness background. 

 Never played sports. I would go workout in the gym but I was always intimated to go lift weights, so I would usually stick to cardio machines.


How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? Take us back to your first WOD… what was it, and how did it feel?

  I started nutrition coaching with Claudia and we had our check-ins at CrossFit Saved, after that I decided to give it a try and see how I liked it. I don’t remember what my first WOD was but I remember I wanted to pass out and thought I was crazy for trying this lol, but definitely felt good after. 


What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting CF? (before / after)

  Nutrition has definitely been my biggest challenge, but I have lost weight, I am stronger every day. I now do workouts that I thought I would never be able to do. I am more confident and appreciative of my body. I can do strict push ups now!!

What sort of changes in your life have you experienced out of taking on something like CrossFit that were totally unexpected?

 I am more aware now of how food/sleep/exercise affect my performance and overall health. Confidence has grown, I have found a new passion and it has made me fall in love with learning more about living a healthy lifestyle.

Please share with us any favorite CrossFit / CFS moments.

  Honestly any time I hit a PR. The amount of support, love, and encouragement you get from our CrossFit Saved family is amazing.

Any advice for people just getting started?  

 Don’t be intimidated! Just give CrossFit a chance and you will be surprised not just with what you actually can do but how much fun you will have. 

What are your hobbies, interests and/or talents outside of CrossFit?

If I’m not at CrossFit, I’m usually at work but I enjoy reading, going to baseball games! Buying workout clothes lol, And traveling!
