Hey I am Coach John! I have been coaching CrossFit since 2013 and founded CrossFit Saved in July 2014!
It has been an amazing journey filled with great people and I am so thankful to everyone who has entrusted me and our coaches to help them with their health and fitness!

Helping members reach weight loss goals and habit/lifestyle change through 1 on 1 nutrition coaching!

I’ve been doing CrossFit for 7 years now, all at CrossFit Saved!
I started back in 2015 at our La Habra location.
Currently I am a full time teacher in the La Habra School district and I coach part time at CrossFit Saved, and I also coach the CrossFit Kids program!
My favorite CrossFit workout is DT!

I started CrossFit in December 2018 and have lost 70lbs! I became a coach in September 2020! I coach full time here at CrossFit Saved.
I became a coach simply because I wanted to give back to what’s completely changed my life, I wanted to help people achieve what I’ve achieved and even greater than I have!
Becoming a coach has been the best decision I’ve ever made! I’ve gotten to know so much more about Crossfit and nutrition. I learned that crossfit isn’t just heavy weights and killer workouts. It’s everyday life, it’s the everyday functions and movements we do in our daily routines, it’s health, it’s fitness, it’s a lifestyle!

I have been a coach at CFS since May 2021. I joined CFS in July 2020, and fell in love with it. I have been a personal trainer since 2018, but the community/team aspect of CrossFit classes is something I have never encountered before. I was drawn to it, joined CrossFit Saved, saw amazing results, and fell in love! Just like anything in life, dedication and hard work towards something you love will significantly shape an individual.
Prior to joining CrossFit, I had felt immense pressure from the fitness industry to look a certain way, eat a certain way, and exercise a certain way in order to fit the mold. Since joining CrossFit, I have finally understood what it looks like to be healthy and strong holistically.
What I love about CrossFit is the diversity in workouts and how every day at the gym is different. Pushing my body to the limits is challenging yet empowering all at the same time!
However, I love coaching CrossFit more. I love helping individuals- no matter what age, gender identification, height, weight or past history, push themselves to become the best they can be and feel confident in their skin.
