This is actually a pretty easy one but it gets confusing due to blanket statements like “you should drink 1 gallon of water per day”.

The better answer is to personalize how much water you should be drinking by the size of the person.

We recommend drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water per day.

If you’re a 140lb male or female, 70 ounces.

If you’re a 250lb male or female, 125 ounces.

That’s our recommendation.

As you can see from the chart above, the goal isn’t to have your pee be completely clear, as you would be over hydrated and should take a break from drinking water.

The goal is to be somewhere between pale yellow and yellow at all times.

If you fall out of that range just drink some water…pretty simple!
