The beginning of the year is right around the corner, we’ve been off track for the most part because of the holidays.

But what next? How do we get back on track?

Here are 5 things you can do to get back on track

-5 Minute action: Commit to five-minutes of researching healthy recipes, food preparation, creating a meal plan for the week,  preparing fresh vegetables so they’re in the fridge and ready to eat. Taking 5 minutes to do any of these things will create a habit to continue doing things towards getting back on track

-Change the environment: A lot of times we surround ourselves with things that aren’t the greatest for us which tend to make us fall off track. If you’re having a hard time with getting back on nutrition, going out with friends or eating out is probably not going to be the best idea. Make sure you’re surrounding yourself with things and people that are going to help you succeed.

-Get support: Sometimes we need help and that’s okay! Getting the right support to help with you getting back on track if you’re not finding yourself successful is always the best to do. We find ourselves thinking we can do its on our own and sometimes we can’t. We here at CFS are 100% here for support in anything you need.

-Learn from it: Falling off track is tough, the last thing you want to do is continue the cycle and keep having it happen every couple months. Make sure you learn from where you’ve been.

-Lastly, remember to be kind to yourself: The journey is hard, be kind to yourself.
