Tell us about your sports & fitness background.
Before CrossFit, I lifted weights on my own and was an avid runner. I work from home so I found myself being home all day and needed to get out. Doing CrossFit gets me out of the house and I get a good workout with great people / coaches.
How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? Take us back to your first WOD… what was it, and how did it feel?
We used the row machine. The workout was so different than what I was used to doing so I was just trying to keep up.
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting CF? (before / after)
I feel the best I’ve felt in years. I’ve gained muscle and confidence. I worked with John on nutrition training. I wasn’t eating enough protein & calories. Now I’m fueling my body correctly and seeing results.

Any advice for people just getting started?
Just show up! My only regret is not joining sooner.
What are your hobbies, interests and/or talents outside of CrossFit?
